About Us

In the northwestern part of the prefecture of Serres, just 40 km from the city of the same name and about 100 km from Thessaloniki, we find one of the most beautiful places in Greece, the village of Kerkini, which took its name – like the lake – from the natural border between Greece and Bulgaria, Mount Kerkini.
Our village is also 590 km from the city of Athens.
In this village, an idea was born in 2004 and had to wait 15 years to come to life.

Kerkini Houses now offer 4 independent residences, fully renovated and equipped, ready to welcome and host you as the most economical accommodation option near Lake Kerkini.

Cycling

Our bicycles are provided free of charge for our friends, so that they can explore both our village and the wider area of Lake Kerkini.

Boat Trip

We organize tours for you with traditional boats on the waters of Kerkini. Pelicans, flamingos, herons, cormorants, water buffaloes, birds of prey and many more winged cohabitants are waiting for you to meet them up close. Whichever season you choose to visit Kerkini, its populations are completely different.

Horse Riding

We organize horse-riding routes by the lake in complete safety for all ages.

Hiking

Hiking trails for all ages, easy for the whole group and suitable for children. The hiker discovers the virgin nature of Kerkini Lake National Park in all its glory.
